AZ Foothills
In honor of Father’s Day this weekend, AZFoothills.com shares one of our favorite Valley dads each day leading up to the holiday. Today, meet John Badolato, a k a Dr. B, and learn the Father’s Day tradition he plans to carry on with his sons.
Children’s name(s) and age(s): Gio, 5; Taio, 3; and Baby B No. 3 due Nov. 9
What is your biggest joy in being a dad? Hearing “Daddy!” screamed with excitement when I come in the door from work and receiving the biggest, most genuine hugs.
Biggest struggle? Worrying too much.
What has been your proudest moment as a father? Not just one, they happen all the time. I find pride in all the little things my kids do that only a parent would notice.
Looking back, what advice would you give to yourself as a new dad? “You can’t stop them, you can only hope to contain them.”
How do you like to celebrate Father’s Day? Golf with my sons, just how my dad and I always did it.
